Pre-Assignment Training
Seaboard Security requires newly hired security officers to complete a six-hour basic security officer training program before being assigned to a client site. The program, from the Professional Security Training Network, consists of the following twelve modules:

Importance of the Security Officer
Legal Issues I
Legal Issues II
Human & Public Relations
Communications
Patrol
General Duties
Report Writing
Fire Prevention and Control
Emergency Situations
Safety
Seaboard Security maintains written general orders and written post orders for all permanent client sites. On site training in the specific duties expected of the security officer at that site is required for most client locations with the amount of time required for the training varying from four to twenty-four hours. The costs of the on site training are borne by Seaboard Security and not charged to the client company.
Specialized training is required at selected client sites, depending upon the needs and expectations of the client.
