After the interview, we can act as a sounding board for you and for the hiring manager which allows us to iron out any potential problems and get you the best possible offer for the jobs you want. Temporary Employment

If you are unemployed, you may be interested in taking on a temporary job assignment as an employee of an employment agency, such as PAGEmployment, while PAGEmployment's placement counselors continue to look for a direct hire job that matches your interests and abilities.

Temporary assignments vary in length from a few hours to several months or even longer, depending on the needs of the client company. Client companies often find themselves so impressed with the abilities of PAGEmployment's temporary employees working for them that they offer them regular positions with the client company.

While working as a temporary employee, you would be an employee of PAGEmployment, part of what we call the PAGE T.E.A.M. and receive:

Weekly pay by check or by electronic funds transfer (direct deposit) to your bank account

How to Apply

While we do accept resumes by fax, email and regular mail, it is best to visit the office, fill out an application (the process is quicker if you have a resume already), take the appropriate pre-employment screening tests and speak in person with a placement counselor about yourself and the kind of employment opportunity you are looking for. The office is at 185 North Main Street, Brewer, Maine and is open Monday through Friday from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. You do not need an appointment, but should allow sufficient time to complete the application, pre-employment screening tests and an interview with a placement counselor.
